We are looking for a radiographer with a background in Radiotherapy to take advantage of this great opportunity to expand their skillset.
The role involves managing the successful implementation and integration of Varian Noona, a cutting-edge software platform designed to enhance cancer patient care and data management.
The Project Manager will collaborate with the MDT, patients, and Varian to ensure the seamless adoption of Varian Noona. They will contribute to improving patient pathways by reducing clinic times and improving patient information distribution.
Noona also has the capability of providing appointment times, the role will aim to reduce DNAs and prevent patients arriving at the incorrect appointment time. The successful candidate will also undertake audits and conduct data analysis to drive improvement by utilising Noona's various functions.
The project aims to improve patient experience, patient outcomes and provides opportunity for long term data analysis.
The candidate will be able to maintain clinical competence while in the role with opportunities to periodically work as part of the radiotherapy treatment team.

About us
The radiotherapy department sits within oncology outpatients. We treat approximately 1200 new patients including breast, prostate, lung, head & neck and GI. Current we use a Philips 16 slice wide bore CT scanner; we have two Varian TrueBeam Linacs running on Aria with Eclipseplanning, and we are currently in the process of installing a new Halcyon Linac which creates opportunities for advancing the service. In addition, we have a new Xstrahl superficial skin unit.
The service is continually working to implement practice development and all staff are encouraged to contribute to the achievement of these. We are able to provide opportunities for staff development both through robust in-house training programmes and CPD funding. We are continually looking to develop roles and the service within radiotherapy, we have two advancedpractice/consultant radiographers specialising in Urology and Head and Neck and are exploring an additional advanced clinical practitioner role for Breast. We have an established SABR service that offers SABR for lung and Oligometastic disease.
