Our Improvement Team supports North Mid to achieve it strategic objectives and priorities through the delivery of programmes designed to support financial sustainability. We are looking for a motivated individualwilling to provide energy and enthusiasm to support our improvement journey. The Programme Managers are responsible for delivery of service and cost improvement initiatives. We are seeking an individual with costimprovement experience who is able to work with clinical and corporate teams in an acute hospital.
Main duties of the job
The Programme Manager will work with the Associate Director of Improvement and the senior leadership group to:
- Ensure the development and management of quality & cost improvement; programme plans, resources and assets, including finances, people and data to enable the delivery of the overall aims and objectives.
- Work proactively across the Trust to ensure operational buy-in to the improvement, including adoption of agreed targets by area, and timely completion of PIDs / quality-impact assessments.
- Ensure appropriate systems and processes are in place to enable tracking of improvement programs.
- Build clear links between the improvement programme and operational and clinical management, for effective implementation of the various strands of the improvement programme whilst avoiding the destabilisation of business as usual.
- Provide leadership, decision making, progress updates and articulate key-risks/issues in executive led workstream meetings.
