Job summary
This is a high-profile programme and the EPR Project Manager role will work with the EPR Programme Manager and EPR Programme Director to oversee, manage and track the EPR full business case, Business Transformation workstream, Data workstream (Data Migration and Strategy). Contract and Collaboration Agreement Management Workstream, premobilisation work through to the implementation phase of the Programme leading to the delivery and post go live stabilisation of the Trusts chose EPR solution (Epic).
Main duties of the job
- Act as project specialist on EPR workstreams, embed excellent programme and project management approaches to deliver workstreams on time, within budget and to the set quality standards required to achieve identified benefits.
- Ensure that information, governance and administrative support is provided to the programmes of work within the overall EPR programme.
- Model improvement approaches so that an safe, enquiring, learning and continuous quality improvement environment is established in the EPR Programme team and across the Trust.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Working closely with workstream leads to plan, track and manage the work streams within a highly complex project spanning multiple clinical and non-clinical departments in the Trust,
- Lead the implementation of Digital PMO solution and provide associated training
- To apply the necessary governance arrangements including project planning, monitoring, tracking and issues and risk reporting and management
- To review processes and assess the impact of the new system and technology in conjunction with Digital Services, Clinical and Operational stakeholders and Improvement and Transformation Team
- To develop and maintain all project documentation - this includes, programme plans, issues list, highlight reports, risk registers, benefits register and any other documents that are deemed necessary to successfully deliver the project
- To provide regular project updates, monitor progress against plan, highlight reporting packs, delivery of the project and post project review to the Programme Board
- To communicate effectively to relevant stakeholders
- To organise, set up and lead Programme Team meetings, including clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, and external parties as necessary (e.g. Epic, UCLH, NHSFD or NCL ICS)
- To influence and implement change and new policies/processes across the organisation
- Review of processes and assess the impact of new technology on working practices in conjunction with Improvement and Transformation Team and EPR Business Transformation Workstream colleagues.

- In the course of managing projects OR EPR Workstreams , the post-holder is responsible for controlling, directing, planning and allocating work and motivation of the staff assigned to or directly involved with the Project/Workstream Team.
- Be an advocate for Improvement and Transformation Team within the Trust, seeking opportunities to promote its services and capabilities and advancing user engagement with IM&T. This advocacy may include creation of learning and engagement materials relevant to the area of expertise.
Resource Management
- Line management responsibility for project support staff and any external contractors as appropriate.
Communication and Key Relationships
- Clear and timely communication with RNOH and UCLH Programme Teams.
- Report to governance committees as appropriate.
- Be responsible for co-ordinating learning from meetings, visits and events
- Prepare and present written and oral progress reports setting out progress in relation to the work and learning and alerting the stakeholders to issues requiring discussion and decision.
