Job summary

The orthopaedic services provided at the RNOH are varied and diverse and the physiotherapy team input into a range of surgical teams including complex joint reconstruction, foot and ankle surgery, adult spinal services and pre-admission service.

We are looking for a highly motivated physiotherapist with a proven track record in orthopaedic in-patient and rehabilitation services to help develop this dynamic service and to provide support to the Band 7 physiotherapists in the day to day running of the unit.

Main duties of the job

You will need to have a minimum 3 years post-graduate experience including six months working on in-patient orthopaedics at a band 6 level. You will require proven communication, time management, supervision and organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload on this busy unit.

  • 3 years experience as a junior grade in a broad range of rotations including orthopaedics/out patients, respiratory care and ITU, rehabilitation including a minimum of 6 months in non rotational specialty

  • Involvement in audit and understanding quality issues
