We are looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join us and become a specialist clinician in the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre Therapy department. Someone to be a part of the team, provide leadership and develop the service to continue to provide the best for our patients. The team provides rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for all age ranges and injury levels, from acute intervention through to reassessment of people with long standing needs. Clinical activity takes place in inpatient and outpatient settings at RNOH, as well as outreach and consultancy to other agencies. As a specialist centre, we have excellent links with other SCI centres around the country and share expertise with other specialist services here at Stanmore.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a physiotherapist who has:
3 years post graduate experience with at least 6 months experience working in spinal cord injury or neuro-rehabilitation.
Excellent clinical reasoning skills
Good organisational skills

- Diploma/degree in physiotherapist
- Registered with Health Professions Council
- Evidence of CPD maintained portfolio including attendance at recent post graduate courses relevant to this post
Desirable
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Involvement in CSP clinical interest group or other relevant professional group
Experience
Essential
- At least 3 years' experience as a Physiotherapist
- Undertaken a broad range of rotations including musculo-skeletal, respiratory and critical care
- At least 6 months experience in neurological physiotherapy
- Experience treating patients with spinal cord injury
- At least 1 years' experience as a band 6 physiotherapist
