Job responsibilities

The ability to communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team is essential. Cancer experience is essential, it is preferred that you have the ENB 998 or mentor-ship course and ideally you will be educated to degree level or working towards it. Education & Qualifications

Essential

• 1st level registration
• Evidence of level 5 or 6 study within oncology
• Mentorship or equivalent experience with students

Desirable

• Educated to degree level
• Knowledge of cytotoxic chemotherapy

Experience

• Significant post registration experience
• Significant experience of oncology nursing
• Experience of working with palliative care patients
• Experience of working with radiotherapy patients

Skills & Aptitudes

• Ability to manage acutely ill patients
• Ability to negotiate and proven communication skills
• Knowledge of current advances in cancer management

• Chemotherapy trained
• I T skills
• Knowledge of research and audit methodology to degree level
