Locum Clinical Fellow Post in Palliative Medicine, Royal Free Hospital.Fixed term appointment for 5 months until Feb 2026.
The post holder will work with the Royal Free Palliative Care Team, a joint community and hospital service, providing specialist palliative care to the community of North Camden and in-patients in the Royal Free.The team is nurse-led with the medical support of 2 part-time consultants. This is an ideal post for those with an aim to specialise in palliative medicine, oncology, care of the elderly or general practice.
Main duties of the job
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIESReview of hospital and community patients with the nurse specialist team.
Fortnightly medical oncology clinicFortnightly attendance at HSEP ward round. 1 in 5/6 first on-call for North London Hospice,RESPONSIBILITY FOR PATIENTSShared responsibility for the care of hospital in-patients and community patients on the team's case load.RESPONSIBILITY FOR POLICY AND SERVICE DEVELOPMENTAll team members are encouraged to participate in QIP and audit whereopportunities.
