Job summary
Finchley Memorial Community Diagnostic Centre offers convenient access toimportant diagnostic tests including Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Phlebotomy,Respiratory and Imaging Tests - including CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-Ray in anon-acute outpatient setting.In this position you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a qualityclinical support service for our patients and referring Medical Staff. This will involveproviding clinical support to practitioners and doctors throughout the departmentsand assisting with manual handling tasks in a manner which is safe for bothpatients and staff.You will be required to rotate through all of the clinical areas mentioned above andassist the staff in providing the highest quality of care to a diverse range of patients.
Main duties of the job
The CDA role will primarily be based at the Finchley Memorial site however there maybe rotation to our other sites. Your role will require you to rotate through different clinical areas (including but not limited to Cardiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray, including Mobile Scanning units) assisting Doctors and clinical staff. This will involve IV Cannulation in these areas when required (training will be given). Successful candidates can look forward to working within a friendly, dynamic, highly specialised, multi-professional team.
This post is Full time - 37.5 hours per week, plus will include participation in weekend rotation.
