Job summary

We are looking for a Urgent Treatment Centre Receptionist to support our team at Chase Farm Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to be responsible for providing a front-line reception service to the Urgent Treatment Centre and for delivering a high standard of customer care to a wide range of clients including the multi-disciplinary team, patients, relatives and their carers.

The fixed rota shift pattern will be :

Vacancy 20.5 hours per week [average]

Week 1-Friday 13:30 to 21:30, Saturday 13:30 to 21:30.

Week 2- Monday 13:30 to 21:30, Tuesday 15:30 to 21:00, Wednesday 13:30 to 21:30.

Week 3- Tuesday -15:30 to 21:00 , Friday- 08:00 to 13:30 Saturday 13:30 to 21:30, Sunday 13:30 to 21:30.

Week 4- Monday 13:30 to 21:30, Tuesday 13:30 to 21:30 ,Saturday 15:30 to 21:00.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of the Urgent Treatment Centre team ensuring an efficient and timely service is provided.

Duties do not require direct supervision on a day to day basis and the post holder is responsible for the management and prioritisation of their own workload. The staff member would need to be flexible, have a range of knowledge of hospital work and external agencies. The post holder would be expected to work within a rota including weekends, evenings and public holidays where they would work independently.
