Job summary

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Infection Virtual Ward team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

The Infection Virtual Ward supports patients with complex infections, enabling them to receive hospital-level care in their own homes while being closely monitored by our specialist team. As a Patient Pathway Navigator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth coordination of this service, with a primary focus on the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) service. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, tracking progress, and acting as a key point of contact for patients and clinical teams.

This role is ideal for an experienced administrator with strong organisational and communication skills, looking to contribute to an innovative infection service that enhances patient care beyond the hospital setting.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with secondment opportunities available for internal NHS candidates.
