Job summary

In this senior role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing Estates engineering project. You will ensure compliance with all appropriate legislative and statutory requirements, and Trust and NHS guidance and frameworks, with the challenge of achieving the most efficient and economical use of the Trust's expenditure.

You will also be key in the development and delivery of the Trust's ambitious and exciting backlog maintenance programme, delivering some of the most challenging and complex engineering projects in a healthcare setting.

Main duties of the job

To advise and support the Estates Programme Manager, DCE/HPD, Project Sponsors, Project Board/team and senior clinicians and to take predominant responsibility for the coordination, management, and delivery of major engineering projects to ensure objectives are achieved in terms of specific performance, time, cost and quality.

  • Chartered Construction professional RICS, RIBA, C Eng or similar
  • Degree/Diploma in line with key competencies in construction and contract management
