Main duties of the job

The EPR developer's role is to support, design and deliver technical solutions for all Application modules used within the Trust. The primary role of this position will be to configure and incident resolution for CapMan (Capacity Management/Patient Flow) and Patient Portal UK (PPUK). The core system used is Cerner Millennium so experience in design and build on this application is paramount. Role includes design, build, testing, implementation and upgrades. Department adheres to strict Change Management protocols, which must be maintained by all staff. The maintenance of applications includes all interfacing between applications.

The EPR developer is expected to progress through training and mentoring as well as by their own initiative. There is some requirement to work outside of normal hours to perform upgrades, fixes and implementations. EPR developers must have an all-round technical ability with a flexible attitude / approach to work to resolve problems and meet deadlines. This role is suitable for people that like a challenging role.

This role is expected to take on other roles from within the department which may not be specifically detailed within the job description. This will enhance the candidate's skill set and provide greater cover within the department.

Please note: as part of this role you are are required to be on-call as per rota, paid per session.
