Main duties of the job
This 12-month fixed term post will complement the consultants primarily responsible for the delivery of Acute Medical care and General Internal Medicine. This post provides a unique opportunity to contribute 1.75 PA of activity to the Diabetes and Endocrinology Team. providing
- Weekly specialist inpatient Diabetes Ward Round
- Weekly Outpatient Clinic
The successful applicant will join a team of highly motivated physicians with a variety of speciality interests within acute medicine. The Department of Acute Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital prides itself on delivering excellent acute care, with an emphasis on accurate diagnosis and timely management across a wide spectrum of conditions. The acute medical team is responsible for the assessment and management of unselected medical patients per 24 hours in addition to short stay inpatients
