Job summary
The CRS Back Office/Application Support Team Lead will hold responsibility for managing the day to day activities of the Digital Services Clinical Applications Support Team, with the main responsibility being to support and manage all local configuration items for all Clinical Applications within the remit of Digital Services, this includes Oracle Cerner EPR.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include ensuring the Team are meeting required Service Level Agreements, resolving reported issues and actioning requests for additions or changes to local configuration, which will include testing the changes, creating relevant documentation on new and existing procedures/systems, ensuring Digital Services security standards are met and to support the day-to-day IT requirements of the Royal Free London Group.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line Application support to end users via tickets raised through the Trusts IT Service Desk, covering regular and complex issues for all Clinical Applications, ensuring trends in Service Desk tickets are identified & dealt with a the point of origin, if required logging with external suppliers and escalating when necessary.
The Team Lead position will required to lead on behalf of the CRS Back Office/Application Support Team, attending working parties, working with Trust staff at all levels, including external NHS organisations, GP practices and third party suppliers covering BAU support and required project activities for all supported Clinical Applications.
Ensure representation for the Team is in place for all Change Boards, Development Request reviews, all Oracle Cerner partnership meetings/reviews and reviews with other Clinical Application providers.
