Job summary

Applications are invited for a senior clinical fellow in Cellular Pathology.

This post is to support Cellular Pathology service activity for Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (Royal Free Hospital and Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital) and North Middlesex Hospitals.

The post holder will report Surgical and Cytology cases with consultants and perform cut-up duties as per departmental service requirements. The fellow will be expected to attend MDT Meetings for all sub specialities and support where required

Main duties of the job

The main duties will be to participate (on a rotational basis according to department requirements) in the surgical pathology and diagnostic cytology services of the department (including specimen cut-up) and preparation of specimen reports. The successful candidate will be expected to take part in the undergraduate teaching as necessary. Further responsibilities include participation in audit and administrative functions of the department
