We are delighted to advertise this exciting opportunity for someone who is an experienced Musculoskeletal Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) and who has significant operational management and well developed leadership skills, to join our welcoming, knowledgeable, and innovative team as our Clinical lead and Lead Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner. Our department, which places clinical excellence and staff welfare at the heart of its decision-making is looking for someone who is a compassionate leader and an APP dedicated to clinical excellence. Musculoskeletal First Contact Practitioner (FCP) experience would be advantageous in this role.
Main duties of the job
This is a joint clinical and operational role where you will oversee the Musculoskeletal physiotherapy service provision as Clinical Lead and also lead our growing team of experienced and well-established Advanced Practice MSK Physiotherapists. You will be supported in this role by the Outpatient Therapy Lead working closely to develop and progress the MSK physiotherapy and APP strategic direction. Additionally, the role will include Advanced Practice Physiotherapy clinics as part of our secondary care and community MSK provision within Barnet ICMSK and Enfield FCP services; involving advanced assessment and management of complex musculoskeletal presentations, including referring for investigations, physiotherapy, or onward referral to secondary care services. Our team has excellent support from the Orthopaedic, Rheumatology and Pain management teams at the Royal Free, and are well supported by multiple other specialties.
