Maternal medicine specialist midwife - this is full time role covering both the Royal and Barnet maternity unit site. It is a full time Band 7 role and part time hours will be considered.
Main duties of the job
Support the implementation of effective care pathways for pregnant women and birthing for those with complex medical conditions at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, with a key focus on addressing inequalities in all aspects of care.
Work with the local and regional teams to provide a maternal medicine service within North Central London.
Support the development and implementing of a shared vision for midwifery within the NCL Maternal Medicine Network and delivering the Network objectives.
Provide and co-ordinate expert and high-quality professional advice from a midwifery perspective, to support and facilitate the delivery of high-quality maternal medicine services in line with the agreed shared priorities for the NCL Network.
Support co-production with service users in the planning and implementation of all services within the maternal medicine network.
