Band 5 Clinical Pathway Manager

We are looking for a full-time (37.5hrs per week) Clinical Pathway Manager to join our Nephrology & Renal Department at Royal Free and Barnet.

You will be responsible for leading the Administrators for the smooth running of the patient's journey from referral to discharge.

Base site: Royal Free Hospital

Monday to Friday - Onsite only

0900-1700

Main duties of the job

The Nephrology & Renal Department is a busy and often challenging environment, we work together to deliver an excellent service at all times.

The post holder will be joining a large friendly team, which includes administrative staff, clinical staff, management, and operational staff.

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to undertake this unique and exciting vacancy. Duties are varied and the nature of the work of the department means that each day is different, but the main responsibilities for the post holders involve leading the administrative and clerical teams, to be prepared to provide administrative and managerial support as requested. To work alongside Clinicians and Operational Team to maintain the smooth running of the whole service. To be prepared to actively participate in service improvement / development initiatives as required. We are looking for someone who works well under pressure and enjoys working with people. We are also looking for someone who has excellent communication and customer care skills and has the ability to organise and prioritise their workload. It is essential that the post holder has IT skills and knowledge of the hospital PAS, EPR, EMIS, LUNA and Dictate IT systems would be desirable.

Working hours for this post are full time 37.5 hours per week

9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday onsite Royal Free (Base site) & Barnet
