Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint a band 5 nurse to be a part of a dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team and who meets the requirements of the person specification. You will need to be flexible, motivated and committed to patient-centred care for women in the outpatient setting. The position is cross site at Barnet General and Chase Farm Hospitals.
The role will include working alongside Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists as well as a wider team to support patients and staff in a clinical environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for helping in outpatient clinics, these will include colposcopy, hysteroscopy, vulval, urodynamic, oncology and general gynaecological outpatient clinics.
* Clinical chaperoning and assisting.
* Patient triage
* Development of the service and personal skills and training
* Working with students
* Interacting with the wide MDT to ensure safe and well managed clinic activity.
