Job summary
The post holder will provide care for inpatients with rheumatologic disorders, outpatients with alongside consultants and specialist nurses and provide rheumatological advice to GPs and junior doctors. There are opportunities for further training in outpatient clinics in inflammatory arthritis and general rheumatology.
Applicants are invited for the above post which is available from October 2024 for 4 months fixed term contract until February 2025 (possibly extend) . Terms and conditions of service are as for ST3+ (SpR) level. The average hours of duty are 40 hours per week.
The role is job planned to work on multi-sites (Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm/Edgware /Finchley Sites)

About us
The Rheumatology department at the Royal Free Hospital is a major centre for the diagnosis and management of general and acute rheumatological conditions and specialises in connective tissue disorders. The department is active in early inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune inflammatory conditions, metabolic bone diseases and inflammatory axial spondyloarthropathy. There are weekly medical grand rounds and opportunities to be involved in research and audits. The post holder will work closely with the Consultant staff of the department and specialist nurses.
