Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Trust as a consultant neurologist. We are seeking to recruit into two, 10 PA consultant posts. The Royal Free London (RFL) NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest and busiest Trusts in the country with a well-established national and international reputation for clinical excellence and world class care. We deliver care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals.
The Neurosciences Centre at RFL encompasses general and specialist, outpatient and inpatient, services across our three main hospital sites with strong, collaborative links to neighbouring trusts.
The post-holder will contribute to inpatient and outpatient general neurology services. Each post will include some work at either Barnet or Chase Farm Hospital sites. As part of this role the post holder will also support the Royal Free inpatient service (c.5 on call weeks/year) and the outpatient general neurology service. For successful candidates there will be the opportunity to develop a sub-specialty interest, in areas that meet the needs of the wider neurosciences service.
