Main duties of the job
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a substantive 10 PA Consultant in Obstetrics at the Hampstead site of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced colleague to join our obstetric services and to take on a leadership role in obstetrics and clinical governance
About us
The successful candidate is expected to provide cover for labour ward, antenatal care and elective caesarean section. The teaching and training of junior medical staff and is also expected to be a key part of the role.
We would like the appointee to take on the Obstetric Governance lead to participate in weekly risk case reviews and review of SI reports, to co-chair MDT SI panels and to attend SIRP panel meetings
The successful candidate will be supported by a multidisciplinary team of obstetricians, obstetric anaesthetist and consultant midwives. The candidate should be keen to work as part of a team, continuing to develop good relationships with other staff within and outside the Clinical management team

- MRCOG
- CCT/CCST or equivalent
- Entry onto the Specialist Register of the GMC (or eligibility for entry within 6mths of AAC)
