Main duties of the job
This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to cover maternity leave to lead and develop our therapy team on the oncology ward at the Hampstead site as well as the therapy team at Marie Curie Hospice.
You would be required to provide clinical leadership to a team, across 2 sites of Occupational Therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians and therapy assistants. You will also be part of the leadership team for Occupational Therapy, developing the service in the trust.
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of leading teams and be willing to work in new and innovative ways. This is an exciting time to be joining the therapy team at the Royal Free, as we are developing new ways of working, especially in Occupational Therapy.
