Job summary
The post-holder will be an integral part of the Thrive LDN team, with a portfolio spanning across programmes and the research, insights and evaluation function.
The post holder will take a lead on one or more projects within the programme, responsible for planning, day-to-day delivery, and subsequent performance management, adjusting plans as required to ensure that risks and issues are mitigated.
The post-holder will work closely with expert working groups and ensure effective management of dependencies within the programme and across the portfolio of programmes. The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in ICS's and all stakeholder involved in integrated care, ensuring alignment between pan-London deliverables and local transformation programmes.
It is expected that the post hold will lead on the Suicide Prevention workstream and have oversight of the Children and Young People's workstream, but this may change over time as the portfolio of work changes.
The role will be a fast-paced and challenging one, working in a complex partnership across a wide variety of London health and care partners with a large number of external risks and influences. Working within a small team, will play a pivotal role in the Thrive LDN team.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will support across Thrive LDN's research, insights and evaluations and programme team. For example, this may involve but not be limited to:
- Lead on the Suicide Prevention Programme, with inclusion of a Real Time Surveillance System for suspected suicide and self-harm, as well as oversight of the Children & Young People's Workstream within Thrive LDN ensuring high quality of delivery
- Responsible for identifying and reporting on issues and risks and undertaking mitigating actions
- Take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and appropriateness of data and intelligence ensuring quality decisions can be madein a systematic and timebound way
- Take a lead for analysis and reporting of specific target areas as agreed
- Be responsible for supporting the Programme Manager and Director of Thrive LDN in the production of strategic reports and briefings for key stakeholders such as Clinical Leads, ICBs, NHS England (London), and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- Be responsible for assisting the Programme Manager and Director of Thrive LDN in the development of the team and the setting of its strategic direction, identifying future opportunities for pan-London projects as they arise
Be responsible for deputising for the Programme Manager to ensure high quality of delivery across their portfolio of projects as required.
