The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our hospital palliative care team based at the Barnet Hospital site.
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse with a genuine interest in palliative care, along with a commitment to continuous learning, teamwork and mutual support.

Main duties of the job
We provide a seven day, face-to-face service for patients with malignant and nonmalignant conditions who have specialist palliative care needs. The post holder will hold their own caseload, and work in close collaboration with the specialist palliative care MDT.
We look forward to hearing from applicants who have at last five years experience as a registered nurse. The applicant will need to demonstrate clinical expertise as well as excellent communication skills and a proven track record of teaching in a clinical setting.We will offer continuing education, support, and development, to develop your skills as a 2clinical nurse specialist.
This post is 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays
About us
The team consists of one lead nurse (Band 8a) and currently 8 Band 7 clinical nurse specialists, and three palliative medicine consultants.
All members of the team are very supportive and strive to ensure the best care for our patients.
We are passionate about training and education for the ward staff to enable them to give excellent end of life care
