Main duties of the job
Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Senior Clinical Fellow - Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine
This is a Senior Clinical Fellow post based at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. The post holder will take part in a Full shift rota covering the Intensive Care/High Dependency unit, obstetrics and anaesthetics. The post will initially be for a term of 12 months, at which time it may be renewed for a further 12 months.
During this time you will be treated as a trust trainee and will be mentored and supported for Final FRCA exams if required - however, please note the role is not a recognised training post.
The post holder will take part in a Full shift rota with a total of 31 London Deanery Trainees (15 ST 3+ and 16 CT1/2), other Trust Grades and MTI trainees. The post holder will cover theatres, Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit and Obstetrics at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals; depending upon the training and experience of the candidate and the requirements of the Department.
Applicants must have at least 18 months experience in the specialty of Anaesthesia at CT 1-2 level (or equivalent) including at least 6 months in UK and must have GMC registration. Applicant would ideally have passed primary FRCA.
