Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic and committed individual for Health Services for the Elderly (HSEP) to lead the nursing team on Mulberry ward . The HSEP wards here at Barnet are modern progressive and innovative the four HSEP wards work very closely together as a team and have strong band 6s as deputies.

Mulberry ward has 23 beds, the person we want for this role needs to be able to be flexible and able to implement changes quickly and efficiently. These are challenging times and therefore the post holder has to have a level of resilience and is able to manage change effectively . This is a good opportunity for a band 6 nurse who wants to be a Senior leader to try the shoes on for size.

We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic and committed professional with the passion and drive to provide the highest quality care to their patients. We work very closely with our medical team and all of our health care professionals to ensure the care of our elderly is dignified and in tune with what is required for these patients and their families.

The role will provide an excellent opportunity for the right individual to lead this acute ward team delivering excellent care to patients with complex needs. As part of urgent care division you will be well supported by Head of Nursing, Matrons and experienced ward leaders.

Hours: 37.5 per week
