Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Development Team to provide expert technical support to the Data Warehouse lead within the Information Management team.
The post holder will be based within the Development Team and report to the Data Warehouse Lead. The Senior Data Warehouse Developer and DBA will provide expert technical support to the Data Warehouse lead within the Information Management team for analysis, development, extraction, transformation and loading of data into its data warehouse, and to support development and maintenance of reporting in the Trust. The post holder will also perform all the required DBA activities.
- Day to day management, development and administration of the Trust's SQL Server based data warehouse.
- Responsibly for ensuring Databases are configured correctly for their purpose, are available, performance tuned, designed and implemented to meet the needs of the data warehouse and is secure.
- To act as the Data Warehouse Developer technical specialist for a variety of projects and system implementations, including the integration of data feeds and adherence to data standards.
