Your role will be to provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, acting as a role model and supporting the Senior Sister/Charge nurse in driving quality care provision forward whilst being responsible for standards of cleanliness in their own clinical area in partnership with the Charge Nurse and providing clear clinical leadership to staff, deputising for the Senior Charge Nurse in their
Main duties of the job
You will have a sound clinical knowledge of the unique clinical needs of medical patients and a desire to deliver the right treatment in the right place at the right time.
You will need to demonstrate specialist expertise and professional knowledge acquired through post registration academic study, clinical, leadership and management development, working and acting as a role model for professional practice and leadership.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will have an interest in developing your leadership style, people management expertise in conjunction with the HR team along with excellent inspiring communication skills.
You will be committed to leading by example, encouraging and empowering your team along with all members of the MDT to ensure consistently high standards of care are set and delivered.
