Job summary
We are excited to offer the fantastic opportunity for a well experienced, qualified Dietitian to join our friendly and supportive team of Paediatric Dietitians. We would love to hear from you if you have post registration neonatal dietetic experience or are well versed in general acute paediatric dietetics working with babies and children, and have a passion or ambition to work in a busy neonatal environment.
You will be working alongside a team of friendly, supportive and experienced Paediatric Dietitians across 2 hospitals within Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust (Basildon and Southend Hospitals) and covering our neonatal caseload. You will be required to provide clinical leadership on these sites to neonatal dietetics, and supported by colleagues who also have neonatal experience. You will be involved in upskilling and clinical supervision of Band 5/6 paediatric dietitians and. The post is offered as a 0.6 wte part time permanent position across 2 sites. Jobshare would be considered, subject to meeting the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will work alongside other paediatric dietitians to cover the neonatal caseload. Close collaboration with the wider neonatal MDT, including fellow AHPs, medical and nursing staff to ensure family integrated care.
You will participate in patient handovers, and MDT ward rounds. You will also have firm opportunity to develop the MSEFT neonatal dietetic service, alongside another B7 neonatal dietitian colleague in Broomfield Hospital (also part of MSEFT).
