We are recruiting for:
- Substantive Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetistwith a special interest in thoracic anaesthesia to help drive our minimally invasive thoracic surgery programme forward

- GMC registration
- Training in both general and cardiothoracic critical care, ALS or ATLS. (at least Intermediate level as per RCOA curriculum)
Desirable
- On Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT from the date of interview
- Training and qualifications in other medical specialty (e.g. FICM, MRCP, MRCS, FRCS).
- Membership of a national specialty organization (e.g. ACTA)
- Accreditation in perioperative TOE
Experience
Essential
- A minimum of one year of continuous experience in cardiothoracic anaesthesia and Intensive Care equivalent to advanced level training as per RCOA curriculum.
Desirable
- ITU experience
- Significant experience in cardiothoracic surgery as consultant
