Job summary
Due to recent investment in the Clinical Coding Team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, we are excited to offer an opportunity for experienced Clinical Coders to join our team at Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford and Southend hospital in Southend.
We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Clinical Coders to join us.

Main duties of the job
- Possess the National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) UK or be willing to work towards it at some point in the future
- Have experience of using ICD-10 and OPCS-4.10 classifications in an acute hospital setting
- Be experienced in clinical coding for a wide range of specialties
- Have extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
- Be willing to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
