Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our friendly team. The Transport Supervisor will work closely with the Transport Administrator, Transport Drivers and Transport Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Broomfield Hospital Transport (Non-Patient).
The Transport Department undertakes the collection, transport and delivery of post, patient notes, specimens, blood, pharmacy, equipment, and miscellaneous items around the Trust
This position is for 15 hours per week, working Monday and Tuesday 08:00 - 16:00.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the supervision of the MSE Transport department and staff, supporting the Transport manager in the overall provision and monitoring of the MSE Transport service, based at Broomfield Hospital.
You will be able to remain calm under pressure with situations which can be demanding. You will ensure a high standard of service is maintained in all areas of responsibility and will work in the required manner to ensure that an efficient services is provided at all times.
