Due to a maternity leave period, we have a fixed-term role available within our large, well established dietetic team.We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian to join our team as an Advanced Cardiothoracic and Critical Care Dietitian.
You will work within an experienced, supportive and respectful multidisciplinary environment. We support flexible working and there is the benefit of 5% HCAS fringe on salary when based at Basildon Hospital.

Main duties of the job
You will undertake the responsiblities required to cover the lead dietitian for the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre at Basildon Hospital. Your clinical caseload will include level 2 and 3 critical care patients requiring parenteral and enteral nutrition. Both on the cardiothoracic critical care and the general critical care.
As the expert in your field you will have responsibility for supervising and training junior staff. Along with line managing a band 6 and band 5. You will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient service delivery and promoting staff development.
