Job summary
Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity via the Medical Education Department at Broomfield Hospital to support the undergraduate teaching programme for medical students.
You will be one of a team of 18 Clinical Teaching Fellows. The role will be split 50% medical education and 50% clinical. There will be a variety of specialities to choose for your clinical time. (Please also note that there may be the possibility for the role to be 100% medical education).
On appointment you may be eligible for entry to the part-time taught PG Certificate in Medical Education. The role is due to start on 7th August 2024 and will be a fixed term contract until 5th August 2025.
The Specialty Rotations are as follows at 50% and 50% Medical Education - 6 month rotations.

Main duties of the job
You will work closely alongside a team of Clinical Teaching Fellows, the Associate Undergraduate Dean, The Head of the CTF Programme, Medical Education Manager and Undergraduate Administrators to ensure that medical students on placement from both Barts and the London SMD and Anglia Ruskin School of Medicine benefit from a well organised curriculum based placement.
