Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our Theatre Admin Group, to provide reception and administrative support on a 12 month fixed term basis.

You will have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and IT experience. It is essential that the candidate is able to work within a multidisciplinary team, have a friendly and professional disposition and possess time management skills.

The Theatre Admin Group provides reception and administration support to the Broomfield Theatre department , located within the Theatre complex of Broomfield Hospital. There are three reception areas all of which help to maintain the efficient day to day running of a busy environment.

Main duties of the job

To provide efficient and effective reception, administration and clerical support within the Operating Theatre Dept, producing accurate operating lists and supporting the senior team with administrative and clerical duties.

To accurately input patient data into electronic theatre data systems. Input data for staff shifts into Health Roster Live and make amendments to support senior staff.

Required to work on own initiative and as part of a team, planning and prioritising own workload.

Provide continuity of service in the absence of work colleagues. Be flexible to the needs of the department and undertake any other duties as appropriate to the post.

To ensure HealthRoster Live is maintained and updated, inputting changes accurately and in a timely manner to support the senior team in maintaining accurate electronic staffing rosters.

Once trained participate in checking processes for all data input into Theatre Scheduling and Documentation System (TheatreMan)
