We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of the team. This opportunity has a arisen for a highly motivated business support officer to join the performance, planning & healthcare analytics directorate.

The performance, planning & healthcare analytics directorate is at the heart of MSEFT planning, monitoring and analysis of performance. You will support the senior team with administrative tasks and project work - as well providing PA support to the director of performance, planning & healthcare analytics. In turn, the role will give you good exposure to the broad range of activities and teams across the MSEFT.

You will be highly organised, and comfortable working on simultaneous tasks while supporting project administration.

Main duties of the job

You will act as an assistant and diary manager to the Director of Performance, Planning & Healthcare Analytics, and will support the senior team with organisation of meetings involving multiple parties within and external to the organisation.

You will assist the Performance, Planning & Healthcare analytics directorate, providing administrative functions to support priority programmes of work. This includes being the first point of contact for any administrative asks within the team, often acting independently to create processes to best support the team.

You will also provide specialist co-ordination/administration support and advice to the team including the duties listed below:

  • Responsible for creation of project/programme documentation for the team
  • Responsible for the monitoring of projects/programmes and escalating exceptions to management.
  • Acting as a point of contact for team, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.
  • Assist in the coordination and administration of receiving progress reporting data, and inputting, monitoring and checking data where required.
