Well, we have a very exciting opportunity to work with Mid and South Essex Hospitals charity where you'll be key to delivering various projects while developing key skills in business administration.

You'll receive great support throughout your apprenticeship, work closely with a mentor and be given ample opportunity to learn about a wide range of support services we offer across Mid and South Essex to ensure our staff, patients and visitors give and receive high quality care in a safe and comfortable environment.

Main duties of the job

You will work alongside the Fundraising team, working under supervision to support the team with their workload whether this be with event administration and attendance, community fundraising or donor support.

Be part of a small team, a willingness and flexibility to provide support with some other activities required to run the charity is essential.

The apprentice will be enrolled on a L3 Business Administrator apprenticeship programme with a reputable training provider. The relevant apprenticeship standard that the apprentice will study can be found on the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education website:

https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/business-administrator-v1-0. The post holder will be expected to engage fully with the training opportunity and work closely with their line manager and training tutor to successfully complete the learning programme. In addition to the Business Administrator apprenticeship, the post holder will be required to achieve L2 Functional Skills in both English and maths if they have not previously achieved relevant qualifications at GCSE level or equivalent.
