Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the digital learning team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a data analyst to help mould and develop our reporting suite to a first-class standard.

You will be familiar with working with reporting tools such as Business Objects (SAP), NHS ESR reports and Mircosoft Excel at a higher level, producing pivot tables and power queries and dashboards. Providing customised reports for service users and national bodies.

Learning and appraisal reporting data is used as a metric in NHS organisations to measure the leadership and governance practices towards a 'well-led' organisation, where supporting learning and innovation whilst promoting an open and fair culture.

You will be joining a team that manages the trusts learning management system. We are in the process of replacing our learning management system and you will be instrumental in creating framework of data reports in the new system.

Main duties of the job

Duties

  • Creation and maintenance of management reports from the Learning Management system.
  • Creating scheduled reports and returns for trust KPI monitoring
  • Working with subject matter experts to create interactive and immersive training reports that highlights trends in the data and suggest areas governance focus.

Requirements

  • Experienced in the data analysis and big data manipulation
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience at a medium or higher level.
  • Have a proven record of interpreting and articulating data trends and
  • Experience of working with NHS ESR reports and data
  • Proven organisational ability within a commercial and fast paced environment
  • Demonstrable interest in the use of digital technology in education
