We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Breast Unit at Southend Hospital as a Personal Assistant to the Director of Breast Screening.
You will provide a comprehensive effective and efficient Personal Assistant service to the Director of Screening to enable them to carry out their operational and managerial duties, ensuring effective organisation of their time.

Main duties of the job
Provide personal assistance to the Director of Screening to ensure the right focus is placed on priorities, planning, and organising complex activities including:
Responsibility for inbox management, including monitoring and organising emails.
Responsibility for diary management including compilation, coordination and prioritisation of appointments and developing appropriate measures to ensure the best use of the Director of Screening
Responsible for typing clinic notes (MDT Memos) and clinical letters following the Consultant Radiologist Assessment Clinics.
Minute taking and maintenance of action trackers, producing reports, presentations and meeting papers to an excellent standard and circulating these in a timely manner in advance of and following meetings
Appropriately manage telephone calls in an effective and efficient manner.
Receive visitors on behalf of the Management Team, demonstrating professionalism and always exhibiting the core values of the group.
Undertake general administrative duties in support of the Breast Screening Service including scanning, uploading, and photocopying, in addition to creating, developing and managing databases, spread sheets and other documents in line with the needs of the Breast Screening Service.
Collate and prepare information, documentation and correspondence on behalf of the Director of Screening for a range of audiences both internally and externally.
