Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, to join our Anaesthetic Team at Southend Hospital as an Anaesthetic Rota Co-ordinator.

You will be offered a permanent position , this is an exciting opportunity to progress within the Trust.

You will be responsible for the administration processes to support Anaesthetics rota and is a pivotal role for the smooth running of theatres, you will work closely with the Clinical Director and the theatres management team. It is essential that this work is carried out accurately and efficiently.

Main duties of the job

As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, to prioritise the demands of a busy office, and manage your time and workload effectively.

Although your work will be guided you must be able to work unsupervised, using your own initiative and able to respond quickly and efficiently.

As a focused individual, you will need to be organised, have excellent communication skills and be a creative thinker who is able to effectively problem solve and meet tight deadlines.

You will require the ability to work as part of a team working flexibly to achieve common goals.
