The Innovation Programme Manager is a key leadership role with individual and functional responsibility for assuring, driving, reporting and tracking the successful delivery of the Innovation Programme. The Programme Manager role is critical in not only driving the delivery of the strategic objectives of the Trust, but equally in collaborating with other organisations across Mid and South Essex to deliver our ambition to improve health and wellbeing for the communities we serve. The role holder will be an ambitious strategic thinker who excels at building and sustaining partnerships to turn strategy into reality.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an outstanding project management professional to join our Innovation Programme team. The post holder will need successful experience of managing the delivery structure of complex project objectives alongside multiple partners within innovation and/or healthcare.

With demonstrable professional experience for the role, you'll have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, the ability to run multiple work streams in parallel and the confidence to challenge the status quo. You'll have experience of collaborating with senior stakeholders and be able to employ excellent influencing and negotiation skills. You will also have experience in coaching colleagues to develop their ideas. We need a proactive self-starter who is able to act autonomously ensuring that daily tasks and ongoing workloads are prioritised and completed in agreed timeframes and to the expected levels of quality.
