To provide a proactive data analytics capability for the MSE procurement & supply chain team.
Responsible for generating cost modelling tools and processes to capture, control and report against spend for all spend categories to support the procurement team in driving spend reduction and supporting strategic sourcing from a range of different data sources.
Represent the procurement Directorate at corporate meetings when ask by Senior Management
Main duties of the job
Report on procurement performance e.g. Procurement Dashboard highlighting Monthly savings performance, spend reports, compliance reports, Helpdesk performance and seek stakeholder sign off with relevant stakeholders
Deal will ad hoc requests from the Director of Procurement & Supply Chain or Head of Operations to undertake detailed analysis to support Business Cases or Board Papers on an as required basis

It manages the provision of goods and services to all departments (clinical and non-clinical) on a daily basis, contracting for the provision with several thousand suppliers. The service performs a strategic business management role, managing £370m of non-pay expenditure in support of its stakeholders across the group. Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust provides services to the residents of Southend, Basildon and Chelmsford. It was formed in April 2020 by the merger of Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust, and Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
