Job summary

Here at MSE we currently have an exciting opening for two Senior Digital Infrastructure Engineers (Cyber) to be a part of the Digital Platforms Team with a Cyber Security focus delivering both high quality and reliable support of the groups server infrastructure across three acute trusts and expanding into the wider local health economy.

Principally the Senior Digital Infrastructure Engineers (Cyber) post is a new opportunity and key position requiring a self-motivated, dedicated and technically skilled individual.

Here at MSE we value the flexible working module therefore we allow our team to work from home when not required on site. Typically the base location will be Southend however you may need to visit all trusts sites and be part of an on call rota as and when required.

The high level key responsibilities of the role include:

- Support and maintenance of the Trusts technology infrastructure- Monitoring and reporting.- Support and implementation of security objectives within the trust's infrastructure.

Cyber security skills and competencies are advantageous but not essential for this post.

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator

Desirable

  • Microsoft Certified Database Administrator
  • Cyber Security Qualification i.e SSCP or CCSP
  • Commvault / Rubrik Qualifications
  • VMWare / Nutanix AHV Certified

Experience

Essential

  • In depth experience of Microsoft Active Directory 2012 and later including group policy design and troubleshooting
  • Experience Microsoft Server Clustering
  • Server virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware vSphere / Nutanix AHV)
  • Substantial experience working in a 3rd line support
  • Experience in administration of Large Active Directory Domains

Desirable

  • Cyber Security Experience
  • Office 365
  • Previous experience of delivering services to 24/7 operational services, such as HealthCare/NHS
