We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic Speech and Language Therapist to join our Inpatient department at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The service covers all adult acute wards including Stroke, Neurology, Critical care, Respiratory, Surgical and medical admissions. The inpatient service now also includes the Macmillan Head and Neck cancer team. We benefit from positive working relationships with all members of the MDT including our joint-videofluoroscopy clinics as well as an established FEES service.
Main duties of the job
To deliver in this role, you will have significant experience in working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders. You will also have experience of operational management duties including supervision of newly qualified speech and language therapists, students as well as assistants. Leadership and management experience and skills are desirable however training in all these areas can be provided to achieve these competencies. Skills in videofluoroscopy assessment and FEES are desirable.

We have a strong focus on service and clinical development and all our team members are supported to upskill in order to develop specialist roles.
