An exciting opportunity has arisen for a person with excellent Administration & Clerical skills to join the Radiology & Imaging Administration department as a Band 3 Team Leader Fast Track Coordinator.
Some experience of booking Radiology appointments would be an advantage but is not essential.
As well as being organised, self-motivated and approachable individual you need to be able to prioritise and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the Fast Track bookings of all Radiology appointments as well as some Team Leader duties based at BRI in the Radiology department. You are also responsible for making sure the radiology Fast Track appointments are booked correctly and within the correct time frame. Ensuring all referrals are vetted in a dedicated timescale, liaising with Consultant Radiologists as required.

Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:
Educated to GCSE level, to include a pass in English
RSA 2 or equivalent experience
NVQ 3 in Business and Administration (or working towards), or equivalent qualification.
Computer skills to include keyboard skills, word, excel, data entry, database creation.
Experience of using the Radiology Information system CRIS and some knowledge of PACs.
