We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and aspiring Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and friendly service to gain valuable experience working in a Hospital Foundation Trust.
Most attractive aspect of the Post:
The post will offer the opportunity to work in both hospital and community settings assessing and treating patients with a variety of MSK conditions. We accept referrals from Orthopaedics, Plastics, MSK Triage, Rheumatology, Pain, Occupational health and GPs.
There is opportunity for staff to gain experience in a wide variety of MSK settings and specialities including: Hands, Shoulders & Elbow, Rheumatology, Spinal and Lower Limb (Gym). Opportunities do arise for staff to become static in some rotations.
Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:
- Physiotherapy Degree and HCPC registration.
- Good post graduate experience in MSK and experience of working in the NHS.
- Post graduate CPD and experience of working in Musculoskeletal services.
Main duties of the job
All Staff have access to regular IST s staff take part in the appraisals programme.
You will have the opportunity to undertake MSc modules /M level courses some of these are taught by our Advanced Practitioners. We support a team of First Contact Practitioners and there is opportunity to work alongside staff in clinic and to undertake the required training to meet FCP registration through either the Portfolio or MSc route.
