The ACP will work as part of a large multidisciplinary team including medical, clerical, non-clinical support and professions allied to medicine in managing the clinical needs of patients presenting with undifferentiated diagnosis to Acute Medicine.

Under the guidance of protocols independently receives, assesses and manages patients presenting to the acute emergency care unit. When required will be expected to assess and manage referred patients admitted to other clinical areas as well as supporting virtual services and the medical day case unit.

Work across professional, organisational, and system boundaries and proactively develop and sustain new partnerships and networks to influence and promote health outcomes and healthcare delivery systems.
