We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills and, experience of designing and implementing processes to appoint as our Corporate Governance Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our Foundation Trust meets its statutory and regulatory duties.
Main duties of the job
A key element of the role is the production of our Trust's Annual Report and Quality Account which will involve liaising with key report authors from across the Trust and their Executive Leads. Throughout the year the role includes managing and maintaining our key corporate registers and our compliance with external licensing requirements. High-level support will be provided to the Associate Director of Corporate Governance/Board Secretary and the Head of Corporate Governance to ensure that both our Board of Directors and Council of Governors deliver their duties and responsibilities in line with regulatory and statutory requirements. You will also manage the delivery of the Governors' annual programme of activity and support the delivery of learning and development opportunities for our Board members. You will also manage the production of a range of trust wide communications related to corporate governance.
We are a friendly, but small, hard-working corporate governance team. You must be an enthusiastic, organised, and highly motivated individual with a responsible, responsive, and proactive outlook. Working as a key member of the team, your methodical approach and excellent organisational skills will help us ensure that our Foundation Trust meets its responsibilities.
