An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Clinical Effectiveness Facilitator to work in an already established team with support from experienced and committed managers and colleagues. You will be a key member of the Clinical Effectiveness Team, supporting us with our key audit responsibilities. These include supporting the implementation of best practices, clinical audit, national standards and guidance issued by NICE, the department of Health and NHS England. You can expect to gain experience working closely with clinical service units supporting their clinical effectiveness work, and also working on initiatives that have multiple stakeholders across the Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

You will have experience of clinical audit and be able to interpret results and support clinicians in developing plans on a page, monitoring audit activity, writing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

  • Experience of audit and/or clinical audit programmes/projects
  • Computer literate, experience in use of MS office word, excel and analytical tools.
  • Experience of persuading and influencing staff and negotiating change
  • Experience of writing reports (good literacy and numeracy skills)
  • Experience of data management

Desirable

  • Experience of working in an NHS or healthcare environment
  • Understanding of project management
  • Experience of supporting the implementing of best practices and/or standards with clinical colleagues
  • Understanding of change management
  • Worked within a clinical audit/quality improvement area for at least 12 months
  • Delivering training to small groups
